The Industry 4.0 software developed by Nidec Arisa is divided into two phases: Sensorization and big data.
During the sensorization phase, the software tries to compile all data related to machine output and performance by measuring parameters such as temperature, force or vibrations, as well as the different speeds at which a press works, and controlling consumptions. From these measurements, Press Intelligence is capable of identifying anomalous behaviours in order to apply corrective measures and thus avoid unnecessary stoppages. All these measurements are subsequently filtered – the big data phase – in order to come up with algorithms for predicting future actions of the machines.
Press operating modes
Measurement of energy consumption in kWh. Optimisation of the press’ operation by disconnecting unnecessary elements according to the operating mode the press is in.
Calculation of the cost in kWh per part.
Measurement of oil quality (particle type analysis, expiration…) as an indicator of machine wear.
Measurement of vibrations with accelerometers.
Monitoring of most common failures.
Alerts regarding incidents via email/SMS.
We work in this second phase of the Industry 4.0 project jointly with the customer.
Through work sessions and with our advice, the parameters are fine tuned to meet to every customer’s needs. The choices are endless.
